1. Overview
   Better Price Finder (“the Extension”) is a Chrome browser extension that helps Amazon shoppers view price history, deal analysis, and similar products. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
   The short version: We collect nothing. We store nothing. We sell nothing.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
   The Extension does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of the following:

Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, age)
Health or financial information
Authentication credentials or passwords
Personal communications
Location data or IP address
Browsing or web history
User activity (clicks, keystrokes, mouse movement)
Any data from pages other than Amazon product pages

3. How the Extension Works
   When you open the Extension on an Amazon product page, it:

Reads the current page – extracts product title, price, seller, rating, and similar products visible on the page. This happens entirely inside your browser and is never sent anywhere.
Fetches price history – sends the product’s ASIN (a public Amazon product identifier, e.g. B09XYZ1234) to CamelCamelCamel to retrieve publicly available price history. No personal data is included in this request.
Displays results to you – all data is shown in the Extension popup and discarded when you close it.

4. Local Storage
   The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to save your affiliate tag preference on your own device. This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not accessible to any server or third party
Can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the Extension

5. Third-Party Services

   Neither service receives any personally identifiable information from users of this Extension.
6. Affiliate Links
   This Extension generates Amazon affiliate links using the Associates tag 123456789love-21. When you click a product link, Amazon may set cookies as part of their standard affiliate program. This is governed by Amazon’s Privacy Policy, not ours.
7. Children’s Privacy
   This Extension is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
8. Changes to This Policy
   If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised “Last updated” date.
