Data Storage

All your financial data (transactions, categories, reminders) is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store this personal or financial information on any external servers.

Advertising

Spendly shows ads through Google AdMob (banner, interstitial, and app open ads) to support free use of the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as your Advertising ID), IP address, and general device/usage information to serve and measure ads, which may include ads personalized to your interests. This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us, and is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can limit ad personalization at any time from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization).

Permissions

Spendly requests minimal permissions:

Notifications – for reminders and beep alerts you set
Storage – for exporting/importing data
Boot Completed – to restore reminders after restart
Internet – required by Google AdMob to serve ads

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data. Uninstalling the app also removes all data from your device.

Children’s Privacy

Spendly is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can address it.
