PRIVACY POLICY – STATUS SAVER
Effective date: September 30, 2026
App name: Status Saver
Package name: com.navneet.statussaver
Developer: Navneet Chakor
Contact: contact@9neet.com
This Privacy Policy explains what information Status Saver (“the app”, “we”, “us”) accesses, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Status files
The app reads photos and videos from the folder you choose using Android’s system folder picker (Storage Access Framework), usually “Android > media”. It only accesses this folder. It does not access any other files, contacts, messages, or accounts on your device. You can revoke this access at any time in your device settings.
Saved statuses
When you tap Save, the selected status is copied to your device’s gallery (Pictures/StatusSaver or Movies/StatusSaver). This content stays on your device and follows your device’s normal storage and gallery permissions. You can delete it at any time.
App settings
The app stores a few small settings locally on your device, such as the folder you selected and whether you have seen the welcome screen. This data is not sent anywhere.
Phone numbers you type
The “Send” feature lets you open a WhatsApp chat with a number you enter, without saving it as a contact. The number and message you type are used only to open a link (api.whatsapp.com) in WhatsApp or your browser. We do not store or receive them.
We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit personal information to our own servers. The app has no user accounts and no analytics or tracking tools of our own.
The app displays banner and interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. To show, measure, and improve ads, Google and its partners may collect and use information such as:
This information is collected directly by Google, not by us. For details on how Google uses data, see: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your ad choices
Status Saver is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. “WhatsApp” is a trademark of its respective owner.
We do not sell or share your personal information. The only third party that receives data through the app is Google (AdMob), as described in section 5.
We do not keep any of your data on our servers. Data on your device (settings and saved statuses) stays until you delete it. Uninstalling the app removes its settings. Saved photos and videos in your gallery remain until you delete them yourself. Data held by Google for advertising is subject to Google’s own retention policies.
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will address it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Indian data protection law), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not collect or store your personal data ourselves, most of these requests relate to data held by Google for advertising; you can manage that through your Google account’s ad settings at https://myadcenter.google.com and through the in-app “Ad privacy settings”. You may also contact us with any privacy question.
Because your statuses and settings stay on your device, they are protected by your device’s own security. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at the link where this policy is published, with the effective date updated at the top. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised policy.
