AppLock+ (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

AppLock+ is a fully offline app. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Specifically:

• We do not collect your PIN, pattern, or biometric data.
• We do not read the content of your locked apps.
• We do not upload vault files to any server.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not share any data with third parties.

DATA STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

All data is stored locally on your device only:

PIN / Pattern hash: Stored as a SHA-256 hash (not plain text).
Locked apps list: List of package names you choose to lock.
Vault files: Stored in app-private storage and inaccessible to other apps.
Settings: Your preferences, including theme, lock method, and other app settings.

PERMISSIONS WE REQUEST

Usage Access: To detect which app is in the foreground and display the lock screen.
Draw Over Other Apps: To display the lock screen on top of locked apps.
Accessibility Service: The most reliable method to detect app launches.
Storage / Media: Only to allow importing files into the vault.
Boot Completed: To restart protection after a device reboot.
Device Admin (optional): To help prevent AppLock+ from being uninstalled.

VAULT SECURITY

Files moved into the vault are stored in the app’s private directory:

/data/data/com.applock.navneet/files/vault/

A .nomedia file prevents gallery applications from scanning this folder. Only AppLock+ can access these files. No encryption key is stored remotely.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

AppLock+ does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. The app is intended for users aged 13 and above.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
