All app data, including notes, tasks, and categories, is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. No information is sent to external servers or third parties.

Permissions

The app may request the following permissions:

Notifications – Used only to display reminders that you create.
Boot Completed – Used to restore and reschedule reminders after your device restarts.
Exact Alarm – Used to deliver reminders at the precise time you specify.

These permissions are used solely for app functionality.

Backups

The app’s backup feature creates a copy of your data on your device’s storage. Backup files are stored locally and are never uploaded to any cloud service or external server by the app.

Third-Party Services

Notepad & To-Do does not use analytics services, advertising networks, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs that collect user data.
